Cup R4
Well this was a bit of a change. We were looking forward to Aguero beating the record and a few goals but no - Wolves were well organized at the back and defended well and they had some very good chances to go ahead but guess what our hero this evening was no other than Bravo who in addition to saving two penalties made several good saves in normal time. With City starting without the creativity of David Silva and De Bruyne who were rested we failed to score for the first time this season. Fortunately thanks to the penalty shoot-out win we won our 12th game on the run. Neither Jesus or Aguero had good games and the forward line could not break the Wolves defence. Zinchenko making his debut at left back did not look out of place and Adarabioyo making his first start this season was OK. Yaya Toure looked a bit short of match practice and Mangala made a few errors. Though Kevin and Sane came on late in the game we still could not score during normal time but when it went to penalties City made no mistakes with goals from De Bruyne, Toure, Sane and Aguero. I am afraid Benardo and Gundagon never came near to the standard of creativity set by David Silver and KDB.
City made many changes for this League Cup game giving a start for Zinchenko and Adarabioyo in defence.
Wolves had over 6000 supporters at the game
