USA 2008 - Day 7
Next stop on the Turquoise Trail was the Tinkertown Museum. It's on highway 536 off hghway14 near Sandia Park . Well worth a visit it was created by Ross Ward who took over 40 years to carve the thousands of figures in the many displays which also feature some animation.
The bottle fence contains some 50,000 bottles and the museum now contains 25 rooms of exhibits which include a miniature Western Town containing 26 buildings and 300 people - all hand carved . There is also an animated circus, old West memorabilia and much more.
Then there was a four drive to Lincoln for a short stop and onward to Roswell.
