I had not been to the Lake District for many years so when I had to visit the area to demonstrate PTE at a seminar run by the Northern Group of the RPS I took the opportunity to capture some of the wonderful Autumn colours to be seen on the journey. Because of horrendous traffic problems it was not possible to stop until well past Grasmere. The light was not brilliant and many pics had to be lifted in Photoshop. The next morning I was able get out before breakfast for an hour to shoot some pics and a time lapse of Bassenthwaite Lake. On the return South I managed some images at Ullswater.
The second set of images were shot in Cheshire at a small lake near Swettenham and the final images were shot at the Manchester launch of the Nikon D3 and D300 where I was able to get my hands on the D300. Click o an image for a larger size.
