This is Alnwick Castle in the NE of England.

This fun pictures had no caption

I bought a load of old glass slides at an auction many years ago. Some are below - scanned using an Epson 1200 photo scanner at 1200 dpi.

An historic shot of Elswick Works probably in the north east of England.

There were quite a few hand coloured slides

There are 'animation' ones too. Put your mouse over the image for the second image.The originals worked by either moving a lever or sliding the extending glass over to reveal the second image.

There were also a bunch of smaller glass slides which obviously fitted another projection device.
