The above two animated gif's were shot on the 990 , registered in Photoshop and combined in Image Ready. When attempting to do something like this with a digital camera -use a tripod (pretty obvious) but beware the zoom lens does not reset itself between images.With the 990 you can set the lens to start at either wide or tele setting. As leaves move during the time difference leave an object near the edge of the frame to check the register on.It can be cropped out later. It can take over four hours for the sequence of images so keep an eye on the gear.
