12 miles north of Jeddah is the King Abdul Aziz International Airport where I have been many times. Part of the airport is the Hajj terminal designed primarily for the use of the pilgrims that arrive each year for the annual pilgrimage ( Hajj) in Mecca. The award winning design of the roof based on desert tents is very photogenic.
