vertical D70 images shot with the 12-24mm Sigma lens 400 ISO and put together
using Panorama Factory.
Situated near Porthmadog in North Wales, Portmeirion
was the dream of Clough Williams-Ellis. On his own private peninsula on the coast
of Snowdonia he built Portmeirion from 1925-75 in many different architectural
styles. The location has been used for several TV series - including Patrick McGoohans
Prisoner and a film -Inn of the Sixth Happiness.
The
first six images below were taken en route on the road from Capel Curig near to
Snowdon to Porthmadog
There
are plenty of flowers with opportunities for close-ups. On this occasion I was
using the 70-300 in macro mode and wide apertures for differential focus effects.
Below are some examples of using the D70 for infra red images.
